Throughout the course we’ll focus on understanding the underlying git architecture to prepare you for the challenges you’ll encounter along the way while also highlighting the differences between both the command line, or Atlassian Sourcetree as your choice of client. You’ll learn to join and work on a project while collaborating with your colleagues to perform code reviews, pull requests and releases. Sourcetree: A free version control client for Mac and Windows that supports Git and Mercurial repositories is called Sourcetree from Atlassian. The administration part is really easy and there's an extra tool for every developer profile either if you want to use the console or a GUI like Sourcetree. Open Sourcetree and add your Bitbucket Server account credentials and click Continue. Install Sourcetree as you would any other installation. Double-click the downloaded file to open it. By attending this course users will understand and participate in the full lifecycle of a development process using Atlassian Bitbucket. As a team we need to push code into the repo on daily basis, Bitbucket has proven that is a reliable and secure server to save and get the code available in no time.
